Microblading
Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup (cosmetic tattoo) used to create the appearance of eyebrow hair for men and women with less brow hair, thinning brows or individuals that want to enhance the shape of their brows. Pigment is implanted under the surface of the skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Due to the manual, hand-drawn techniques of Microblading, we’re able to create very realistic hair-like strokes and give the illusion of natural, fuller brows. Prior to the procedure, we will shape and customize an eyebrow that compliments your facial features.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
Pre-Care Tips:
- Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment to reduce the risk of bleeding during your appointment.
- Avoid consuming caffeine for a minimum of 24 hours before your microblading appointment to prevent excessive skin sensitivity.
- Avoid suntanning the area being treated for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Sunburned skin cannot be treated. This is to avoid complications.
- Do not use self-tanning products for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Do not take blood-thinning medications, including aspirin or ibuprofen, for at least 24 hours before your appointment to reduce the risk of bleeding or bruising.
- Cannot treat if going through chemotherapy. Please wait 6 months post to get microblading done because like with any tattoo, there is risk of infection.
- No current Accutane use or less than1 year prior to treatment
- Tell your microblading professional if you have any allergies, especially allergies to numbing creams or other products.
- Do not wax or pluck your eyebrows for at least 2 weeks before your appointment to reduce skin irritation and ensure seamless results.
- Do not get any facial treatments, including chemical peels and laser treatments, for at least 2 weeks before you receive microblading.
- Regrettably, pregnant and nursing clients can’t be treated.
- Performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort.
- Frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the procedure will not last as long.
- Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, be aware that. this may affect your sensitivity tolerance to the procedure.
